Breakfast with Richard Di Natale in Gloucester – Sat 4 March 2017
Senator Richard Di Natale is visiting Gloucester on the Saturday 4 March 2017 to meet the Gloucester community and regional communities who are concerned about the Rocky Hill coal mine proposed on the doorstep of the Gloucester township. We are in the urgent phase now of showing strong community opposition to this mine (and coal itself!) and we need you here!
Richard will be in Gloucester at the Billabong Park picnic shelter for breakfast at 9.00am – please bring some breakfast to share, your own plates/cutlery/mugs etc. It’s really exciting that Richard is giving his time to drive up to Gloucester, as he needs to be in Sydney by 2.00pm – let’s show him how much support The Greens have in rural/regional NSW.
If you could RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are attending that would be great. Just a yes and numbers attending is all I will need and you will be registered so we have an idea of how many people will be there.
We shall go from the park to an area overlooking the mine site (on a public road so no issues at all) so we can get some good media shots etc. Richard will then leave at 11.00am to return to Sydney.
This is our big chance to get Gloucester and The Greens some great coverage and expose what is happening here with this monstrous mine proposal!
