Time2Choose Rally: Saturday 24 March 2018
On Saturday 24 March 2018, thousands of people from across New South Wales came together for a massive rally outside NSW Parliament and marched to Prince Alfred Park, Sydney.
So many people gathered to send a loud clear message that it’s time to choose clean air, clean water and a safe climate over the coal and gas industries.
Barrington Tops Greens were at the rally supporting an end to fossil fuels, the uptake of renewable energy sources, and the need for serious action on climate change.
Being one year out from the 2019 state election, it’s an important time to make demands of decision makers; to call for protection of land, water and people from the impacts of coal and gas mining; highlight the Greens support for an end to fossil fuels and ongoing leadership of the community debate about climate change.
